“The line between disorder and order lies in logistics…”
Browning Real Estate Partners (formerly Browning Investments) has chosen Patrium as one of the contractors for the construction of the Daimler distribution center in Whitestown, Indiana.
The new $12M Daimler center is part of the greater Allpoints at Anson business park, a 616 acre new development with more than seven million square feet of distribution, manufacturing, and biuld-to-suit facilities.
According to Inside INdiana Business, the facility will be the “first of its kind in the Midwest for Daimler and will create up to 45 jobs by the end of the year.” They will be set to process 7,000 new parts every day.
From the Indy Chamber on the importance of Indiana to the logistics of the Midwest United States, “Known as the Crossroads of America, Indiana is home to the nation’s second largest FedEx hub in the world, the eighth largest cargo air facility, 41 freight railroads, three international ports and is the national leader in pass-through interstates. With 82 million people living within a 500-mile radius of the state’s border, today 5,700 companies across the state are engaged in logistics operations like Daimler Trucks North America.”
