Alston Construction has chosen Patrium as one of the contractors for the Lakeshore Manor Senior apartments in East Chicago!
Lakeshore Manor will be a 206-unit housing development that will replace the John B. Nicosia Senior Building along what is now the North Harbor Redevelopment area. Set to be completed in early 2024, the new $51M senior affordable housing development will be a few minutes away from the shores of Lake Michigan. The development is also within walking distance of the East Chicago Public Library and the East Chicago Aquatic Center.
According to DTM Real Estate, the Indianapolis based and minority owned firm in charge of the development, Lakeshore Manor will be a solution to a senior housing need in East Chicago Indiana. Ezra B. Burdix, president and founder of DTM Real Estate, highlighted, “We believe that good, safe housing is the first line of defense to good healthy and healthier outcomes. We are confident this project will be a benefit to seniors in the community for many years.”
